PostageApp leaves beta, grows up!

August 16th, 2010 by georges  |  3 Comments

PostageApp has gone through a great beta period and we want to say:

Thank you to our beta users!

We’ve had an excellent group of beta users and they’ve helped us with every aspect of the service. We’ve received good bug reports, great UI feedback, suggestions on pricing and features, and some great words of encouragement.

Here are some stats from our beta period:

  • Registered 908 beta users
  • Served 682 projects
  • Our top user sent 550,000+ emails!

By all measures, the beta has been really successful and today we’re proud to announce that PostageApp is out of beta and open to the public!

We’ve released our monthly plans and upgraded our Rails 2.x plugin to a gem that is compatible with any Ruby framework – Rack, Sinatra, Rails 2, Rails 3, etc. We’re Ruby users, but our beta users have contributed some excellent pieces for other frameworks/languages. Here’s the list so far:

Thanks to everyone who contributed and shared their work!

Come meet us!

We’re proud Torontonians, so we’re all going to Toronto’s 50th Rails Pub Nite tonight and giving attendees a special deal… come on down to the Rhino tonight and grab a drink!

[...] Exactly one year ago, PostageApp shed its beta status and officially became a product.
